Terms of Use

Welcome to HipiZipi. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the HipiZipi app for iPhone and iPad (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The app & your license

HipiZipi is a coloring app for children, intended to be used with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA differ, these Terms govern to the extent permitted.

2. Subscription — HipiZipi Unlimited

The App is free to download and includes a selection of free content. An optional auto-renewing subscription, “HipiZipi Unlimited,” unlocks all pictures, tools, colors, patterns, stickers, and unlimited magic imports. Subscription options are:

• Monthly — $2.99 (USD) per month.
• Yearly — $19.99 (USD) per year, which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Prices are in U.S. dollars; prices in other regions are set by Apple and may vary. Both plans unlock the identical content and both are eligible for Family Sharing.

3. Free trial

The 7-day free trial is available on the yearly plan for new subscribers only. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid yearly subscription and your Apple ID will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Billing, auto-renewal & cancellation

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (App Store settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Purchases are made through Apple, and all billing is handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Parental controls

Purchases and certain features (such as photo import) are protected by a parental gate within the App, and App Store purchases additionally require Apple ID authentication. Parents are responsible for supervising in-app activity and managing purchases on their Apple ID and family accounts.

6. Your content

Artwork you or your child create, and any images you import, remain yours and are stored only on your device. HipiZipi does not upload, host, share, or claim any rights to your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any image you import.

7. Access codes & complimentary access

We may occasionally provide private access codes that unlock the App’s full features at no charge (for example, for friends, family, or reviewers). Such codes are personal, non-transferable, and provided at our discretion; they are not a purchase, carry no cash value, involve no billing, and may be discontinued for a given code at any time. Complimentary access does not create a paid subscription and is unrelated to Apple billing.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App. In particular, you will not: (a) copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law; (b) use the App in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose; or (c) attempt to interfere with the App’s intended operation.

9. Intellectual property

The App, including its templates, artwork, characters (including the mascots Hipi and Zipi), design, and software, is owned by HipiZipi and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HipiZipi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
